Security Update for Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 (KB980376) 14.0

A security vulnerability exists in Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 that could allow arbitrary code to run when a maliciously modified web page is opened. Update for Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 resolves that vulnerability.

This update changes the CLSID of the Outlook View Control and sets the killbit for the previous CLSID to make sure that the earlier version of the control cannot be instantiated in Internet Explorer. If you uninstall this update, the Outlook View Control may not function as expected.
